Students, academic reading and information literacy in a time of COVID

چکیده
Reports on a panel discussion held at LILAC 2022 student academic reading during the COVID-19 pandemic. Draws data from two surveys, but also discusses implications of this research for teachers and information literacy (IL) practitioners. In summary, students carried out almost all their in electronic format, due to restrictions place. However, common with conducted prior pandemic, preferences print format remained. Students report doing less assigned readings, feeling more tired as well reporting other negative health benefits excess use screens devices. The study has librarians, learning developers staff assigning course readings students. Ongoing area is recommended.
